Watch how betting expert Dave Nevison's fancies fare at Warwick on Friday. The Racing TV cameras will also be capturing the action at Dundalk.
3.32 Wetherby: Kilta
Kilta has won over hurdles and fences since joining Sam England but despite having a chasing pedigree he possibly hasn’t excelled as much as was hoped over the larger obstacles recently.
I am an admirer of the England set up and switching Kilta back over hurdles for this staying handicap hurdle may well be what is required to get the eight-year-old back on track.
He is now 4lb lower than when he last raced over hurdles and is way below his latest winning chase mark,so is very well handicapped. His run of disappointments has included a few eye-catching spins.
Kilta will lack for nothing in the saddle with Sean Bowen taking over and with his trainer in excellent form he might well outrun big odds if appreciating the switch back to hurdling.
4.07 Wetherby: Heroique De Maulde
Heroique De Maulde is an obvious choice here after he returned to form after being well backed last time and that form has already been boosted, with the winner since going in again.
He has had just three previous runs for his excellent new yard and the money lost on him last time looks only lent.
He is running off a mark 12lb lower than his latest chase win and I am happy to be with him, even if his price is likely to be short.
4.45 Wetherby: Henrysbrotherjack
Olly Murphy looks to have another improving handicapper on his hands in the shape of Henrysbrotherjack.
He has gone up in the weights for his recent wins but he started off such a lowly mark that he could well still be a step or two ahead of the handicapper.
A test of stamina has very much coincided with his improvement, and he looked very strong at the end of his race at Uttoxeter recently.
The six-year-old is reunited with Sean Bowen, who was on board for his first success at Uttoxeter back in December. The punishing home straight should provide the stamina test he needs, even with the ground being quicker.
