Flymetothestars team set sights on All-Weather Finals Day

Flymetothestars will have his attentions turned to qualifying for All-Weather Championships Finals Day once the turf season has ended.
Although immediate plans remain fluid for the four-year-old, the final of the marathon division at Lingfield on Good Friday next year has been earmarked by connections as a long-term target.
The Sir Mark Prescott-trained son of Sea The Stars backed up his third in the Northumberland Plate when finishing second on his first start on grass in the Ebor at York.
Tim Palin, spokesman for owners Middleham Park Racing, said: "I thought for a moment he was going to do it. It was almost reminiscent of Ventura Storm in the St Leger.
"Three-quarters of a furlong out, he was in the lead and we were thinking he was going to win this. In both races by the time the line had come, they had both been headed and touched off.
"It was a great effort to come from virtually last to first. It was a brave decision to target the Ebor in the height of summer when you are praying for rain, and luckily enough the ground was good enough for him to run and he nearly pulled it off.
"The 5lb claimer they had on (winner Nakeeta) might have just made the difference in the end. The handicapper has put him up 4lb and he is now bordering on Listed and Group Three territory.
"He will run once or twice at the back end of the season, either here or across the Channel in a Listed or Group Three staying race.
"We will have a chat this weekend about where he goes next, but in the long term we will try to get him qualified for the marathon final on Good Friday.
"We might get to do that in one shot in a 'win and you're in' race, or we might have to run him three times."
