Racing TV #Raceday’s Amy will be on our television screens in E4’s brand new Married at First Sight UK for the next month as she tries to find her Mr Right.
Here's everything you need to know about her.
Age: 34
Born: Cornwall
Occupation: Influencer,
sports reporter and #Raceday presenter for Racing TV
Career history: Former
model Amy on her love of horse racing and her role as a presenter for #Raceday
I used to only tune into the races for the
Grand National growing up, and Ascot for the fashion. Then when I was starting my career an opportunity came up to work on a horse racing programme. I grabbed it by the reins, I didn’t really know too much about racing or betting at the time but it was always something I wanted to learn about, a week in I was hooked!
My favourite meeting is definitely The Cheltenham Festival. It’s like Christmas for a racing fan!
I don’t necessarily have a favourite horse, but the most sentimental one is definitely Many Clouds. He was the first horse I had to talk about in my racing job and went on to win the Grand National.
I love my job as a presenter for
Racing TV’s #Raceday, where my role is to take people behind the scenes at major racecourses, getting them closer to the action. I’m aiming to bring a new audience to the sport by covering all the essentials of a day out live on social media; the fashion, the entertainment and of course the best bets. For me, nothing beats the excitement of a day at the races!

Amy on her biggest winning bet
When I was studying journalism I became quite the betting enthusiast, I made a fair amount of money which helped me to continue to live and study. My biggest winning bet was £3,000, but I normally do lots of little ones and build them up. And I don’t chase losses!
Amy on refereeing
I'm a qualified referee. Most guys can't handle the fact that I am really into football and I probably know more about football than they do. Being a qualified ref has its good points - I can just get out the credentials and tell them they don't know what they are talking about when I wear the referee's kit. Most boys think I'm in fancy dress.
I mainly did my refereeing qualification to help alongside my journalism, but then being from a background of glamour modelling, I knew I was going to get a lot of stick from the guys. So I could pull out the red card and say 'oi no, I know what I am talking about!’
Amy on her appearance on Married at First Sight UK
I’m so excited to be appearing on Married at First Sight UK! I first applied for it back in January, I’d had a hellish two years, lots of issues with exes and not being able to find the right guy. But you’ll be able to find out a lot more about that on my actual wedding day. I had a great time doing it with lots of ups and downs. You’re in for quite a ride!
Amy on dealing with online trolls by becoming a referee
It was a mixture of things really, it’s not something I actively sought out. I was in my family's football club’s committee meeting held in the very glamorous kitchen of the football club and the subject of the refereeing course came up. There was a bit of banter that I should sign up and do it, and I thought, ‘yeah why not, actually!’ So I signed up and qualified and thought I’m doing it to prove a point to my family & friends of the football club.
I was also studying to become a journalist so I thought the insight from a ref's point of view would not only help with my writing but also sports presenting. And yes, being a ref has majorly helped with the trolls I get on Twitter for being a former glamour model.

Your dream dinner party guests? Alive or dead.
Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn - I’m putting them down as one. Dolly Parton. Brian Clough.
An interesting fact about you?
I kept a clean sheet against Barcelona at the Camp Nou for Chelsea. It was a celebrity/influencer event. Chelsea called me up and asked me to do it. I said for them to stick me in goal because I’m not much of a runner. I was like a cat with my reflexes - it was great!
Favourite food?
Sushi.
Favourite holiday destination?
Somewhere in the Caribbean in one of those all-inclusive resorts because I love food and booze.
Favourite film of all time?
Bridget Jones’ Diary because I’m a hopeless romantic and I’m basically Bridget Jones.
Best subject in school? History. I fully believe I’m the reincarnation of Anne Boleyn. I love the Tudors.
Club or pub?
Can I have both? I’ll go to the pub and end up in the club.
Guilty pleasure?
Obviously Married at First Sight!
One item you can’t live without?
My phone. I do absolutely everything on it and it connects me to the people I love.
