Former jockey Allan Mackay is in intensive care in Addenbrooke's Hospital following a fall on the gallops in Newmarket on Saturday morning.Mackay, who is father to former jockey Jamie and current rider Nicky, was injured in an accident over the weekend, according to the Injured Jockeys Fund.A statement read: "Former jockey Allan Mackay suffered a fall on the Newmarket gallops on Saturday morning and was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. He is in intensive care and currently under sedation.The extent of his injuries is not yet known and there is unlikely to be a further update until later this week." Mackay was last seen in racecourse action when he rode File And Paint to finish unplaced in the 2012 Leger Legends race at Doncaster.
