One of the star fillies from last season, Estrange is reported to have wintered well and be on target for a return to action next month providing the ground is suitable.
David O'Meara's striking grey, who has won four of her seven starts, including the Lancashire Oaks, has been placed in the first two in all but one of her races and signed off last season with a highly creditable second behind Kalpana in the Group One British Champions Fillies and Mares Stakes on British Champions Day.
The daughter of Night Of Thunder had originally been declared for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe two weeks earlier, but was taken out of that race after scoping dirty.
Speaking at Newmarket on Thursday, Cheveley Park Stud Managing Director Chris Richardson said all roads are likely to lead to Longchamp for her this year, but that she could start off her five-year-old season on the Knavesmire.
"She looks great. She looks more mature and has really filled her frame," he said. "She has a few options. She has an entry in the Middleton Stakes at York [May 14] if the ground is soft enough and the Pretty Polly Stakes is also an option for her [Curragh, June 27].
"If the ground is quick she won't run and we could go back to Haydock, but all roads lead back to the Arc."
