Doncaster 'most likely' for Acomb winner Wells Farhh Go

Mon 4 Sep 2017

Tim Easterby's stable star Wells Farhh Go is likely to only have one more run this season.

The in-form Malton handler is considering the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster on October 28 or a Group One in France the same weekend.

"He's come out of the Acomb in great form, I couldn't be happier," said Easterby. "He looks fantastic, he's a big heavy horse.

"There are a couple of options for him, but I'm not too keen to run him too often this season. There's the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster, which is the most likely, or there's the Criterium de Saint-Cloud, we'll just keep our options open.

"What impressed me most when he won the Acomb was the fact David (Allan) couldn't pull him up, when all the others stopped fairly quickly.

"He'll probably just have the one more run, but he's a proper horse, he's special."
