Dave Nevison's tops tips for Saturday: Star can shine at 14-1

Kevin Ryan and Kevin Stott have been a partnership who have really grown this season without perhaps being in the limelight as much as some.
Stott’s ascendency will continue next season no doubt and if Teruntum Star is on a going day (and he certainly looked it last time) he will attract a few more fans.
This horse does not hold his form for that long but I am of the view that his trainer has kept him fresh for the valuable sprint at York 3.15. He was well beaten here last year so maybe is not the best each-way proposition but might be worth backing for the win.
Big Country and Anythingtoday have landed good wins for this column this season so it is with reluctance that I pass them over in favour of Chelsea Lad, who did us a good turn in the Cambridgeshire by finishing fourth.
He has been a talking horse all year but his shrewd connections clearly think he is good and although there is not much season left to prove them right I believe he will begin to pay his way in the opening handicap at 2.05.
I believe Ian Williams is just about the best of the now very few genuinely dual purpose trainers around and he can win the Cesarewitch with the very useful London Prize.
This horse, who has a big future, has not been seen since he landed the Northumberland Plate consolation race in July but his shrewd trainer has been in good form all summer.
James Doyle looks a very significant booking for a trainer who often uses a claimer for big handicaps and the hint should be taken.

3.40 Newmarket: London Prize (each-way) at a general 20-1
