Betting expert Dave Nevison likes a trio running at Ayr on Tuesday. Watch how they fare live on Racing TV, when our coverage will also include the Jumps' action at Galway.
Ayr 2.47: Star Start
Since switching to handicap ranks this modest performer has been an extremely consistent performer and he seems to be improving this autumn, certainly based on his win last time.
Rebecca Menzies has placed him very well and he escapes a penalty for that success in a Beverley contest that was exclusively for apprentices. Another apprentice. William Pyle, who is having a good season, takes over on Tuesday. Off bottom weight, Star Start looks a worthy favourite against older opposition.

JKR Cobbler was unable able to extend his winning sequence to four last time but went down very narrowly at Ayr - finishing just about alongside Kalganov, the runner-up, in a tight three-way finish.
Kalganov has since gone one better, so JKR Cobbler finds himself 5lb better off with him here and that should be enough for him to turn the form around. He started his winning spree off a mark of 47 but I don't think running of 63 will stop him winning another before the end of the season.
Iain Jardine, his trainer, is enjoying a terrific run of form.
Ayr 4.32: Alpine Sierra
I backed this one last time at the Ayr Gold Cup meeting thinking he might be able to get across from a wide position. However, things didn't go brilliantly from the stalls and he was always playing catch up. Thankfully, I backed Alpine Sierra five places and he just about managed fifth.
I believe the run was better than the finishing position suggested and Jim Goldie's six-year-old is in good enough form to exploit a 1lb drop drop in the weights and a better draw.
