Dave Nevison's Saturday selections: Intimation can prove class act

Intimation has been lightly raced and is a mare who has clearly had issues but, despite that, she is now firmly established as a Listed performer.
She won impressively in that grade at Naas on her final start last season and should have made the jump to Group three winner at the Curragh last time, being an unlucky loser.
She can get to that level and make herself very valuable in the process by winning the Bet Bright Casino Atlanta Stakes (3.00) at Sandown on Saturday afternoon.
It is a competitive race, numerically, but I feel only two or three have pretensions to be Group class and she looks a Saturday winner for Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore.
Across Dubai was highly tried at Goodwood last time and ran very well, even though he ended up finishing last of the four runners.
He certainly shaped there as if the 12 furlongs was a shade too far and it looks a good move of William Haggas to drop him back in trip, as well as down to handicap company, in the Bet Bright Recall Handicap (3.35).
Across Dubai should have enough improvement in him to beat old stagers like Master Carpenter and Oasis Fantasy and it could be the other three-year-old, Euginio, who proves toughest to crack.
