Our top tipster gives his three best bets for Friday's action from Newmarket and Pontefract, live on Racing TV.
7.33 Newmarket: Rogue Bullet
It wasn’t the biggest surprise that this gelding made a winning stable debut for James Owen at Brighton recently where he was ridden by Billy Loughnane, who gets the leg up again this evening.
He looked to be much improved on that occasion so it was disappointing that he could not follow up at Lingfield last time.
However he didn’t get the run of things under his apprentice rider there, kept wide and then getting carried right in the final furlong.
He is off a 2lb higher mark again here but the impression he gave when winning suggests he can handle it if things go right.

8.08 Newmarket: Novamay
Michael Dods has his team of sprinters in very good form at present and Novamay very much joined the winning party last time out with a good win when beating two consistent geldings up at Ayr last time.
She is up in grade this time but also racing against her own sex so the step up may not be as exacting.
Novamay rattled up a hat trick in July last year so is clearly a summer filly and with conditions ideal she looks very capable of backing up her latest win.
8.52 Pontefract: Ravishing Beauty
Ravishing Beauty won this corresponding event last season and has since been generally performing well in higher grade handicaps than this.
She won a 0-70 contest at Carlisle on her penultimate start and ran well again at a similar grade last time.
The 4yo filly is dropped back to 0-65 company for this and can give the weight away in this grade.
A drop of rain, which seems unlikely, would definitely help her cause but with the forecast ground being just good, I don’t see conditions being an issue.
