Charlie Longsdon is contemplating dropping Azure Fly down in trip for a tilt at next month's Cambridgeshire National at Huntingdon. After finishing third in the inaugural running of the Edinburgh National at Musselburgh on Saturday, the Chipping Norton handler is now considering making the three-and-three-quarter-mile stamina test on March 5 the next port of call for the nine-year-old."Azure Fly has again ran his race. He is tough and he definitely deserves to win a decent handicap. His time will come," said Longsdon."He is ultra consistent, he just tends to find one or two too good, but it is not through a lack of trying. Ideally he probably needs to come down a bit to win a couple."The going is likely to be too soft in the Eider (Newcastle). There is the Grimthorpe (Doncaster) over three and a quarter but they go quite quick in that."There is the Cambridgeshire National at the beginning of March and it is a decent pot and that might be an option."
