Big Orange has been ruled out of this afternoon's Prix du Cadran at Chantilly due to overnight rain.
Michael Bell had been enthused by the midweek weather in France and the Gold Cup winner travelled over to take on Vazirabad.
However, while Chantilly missed most of the heavy rain that fell in Paris on Friday evening, there was still enough to rule the six-year-old out.

Orange also had a restless night in the racecourse stables.
"It poured down with rain last night and he's been taken out because of the ground," said Bell.
"He was, though, very unsettled in his box last night. He does have a history of it and last night he worked himself up into a right tizz.
"He'll almost certainly go to Ascot, he'll be absolutely fine in a couple of days.
"Two and a half miles on testing ground when you are away from home - you need everything in your favour in Group Ones."
