Ar Mad will miss an intended run in the Betfair Ascot Chase later this month after suffering a setback.Gary Moore's injury-plagued chaser produced a fine comeback effort in the Tingle Creek Chase when staying on stoutly into fourth behind Un De Sceaux.Connections were briefly tempted to step up to three miles in the King George, but bided their time to wait for the Clarence House Chase at Ascot. However, that meeting was lost to frost and while the race was rearranged for Cheltenham last weekend, Moore decided to skip a trip to Prestbury Park in favour of waiting for the February 18 contest.Ar Mad's name did not feature among the Ascot Chase entries on Wednesday though, with the Sussex-based trainer still hoping to get his charge to the Cheltenham Festival next month."Ar Mad has just met with a little setback," said Moore."It's annoying, but there we go. Hopefully the next time he runs will be Cheltenham."He's in the Queen Mother and the Ryanair and we don't need to decide now which one."
