1.25 Naas: Karbau
Willie Mullins has a tremendous record in this race which he has won six times in the past nine years, including when Anzadam scored last year.
The serial Irish champion trainer is well represented this year with three runners, the best of which is likely to be Karbau, who makes his seasonal reappearance.
The six-year-old finished third in two Grade One novice hurdles last season, and this represents a drop in grade. I think he can take advantage of that.
2.10 Sedgefield: Rosie Baloo
Rosie Baloo finished ahead of Laffer Curve when they met at Wetherby last time out, and she can confirm that form here.
Her jumping was an asset that day when recording a RaceiQ jump index score of 7.9/10, and she travelled strongly, only to be beaten by a well-backed contender trained by James Owen.
That was only her third outing over hurdles, and she is making steady progress as a hurdler. I believe she can get her head in front for the first time here.
3.10 Sedgefield: Indian River
Adrian Keatley has his team in tremendous form, and Indian River has won both of his starts for the yard over hurdles.
The selection bids for the hat-trick here off a reasonable looking mark of 117, and his jumping improved markedly on his second start over obstacles as he went from a RaceiQ Jump Index score of 6.5/10 on debut, to 8.7 next time out.
He can take advantage of his generous mark setting out in handicaps.
4.10 Sedgefield: Livano Bello
The angle with this contender is that Brian Hughes gets back on board after Livano Bello had been too keen under a conditional rider lat time out.
Hughes has ridden her before, and seems to get a good tune out of her, and even though she remains a maiden, this is an ideal opportunity for her to strike for the Micky Hammond team.
