Find out who top presenter Angus McNae is siding with across Hamilton, Gowran Park and Downpatrick on Sunday, all live on Racing TV.
2.05 Downpatrick: Full Confession
This five-year-old looked to have plenty of potential when winning a bumper on his debut under rules at Downpatrick in Fairyhouse.
His subsequent defeat at Lingfield in an all-weather bumper is a mystery, but he has been given plenty of time to get over whatever hindered him that day, and a return to his rules debut form can see him win on his hurdling debut for the Willie Mullins team.
He has plenty of speed and provided he jumps adequately, he can make that tell in what does not look the strongest contest.
4.40 Gowran Park: Candleford green
This well-bred filly was narrowly beaten at Leopardstown on debut in October and was unlucky not to win at Naas last time out.
She travelled well, but never got a chance to show what she could do as she was consistently squeezed for room.
She has a classy pedigree which suggests that the step up in trip to will suit, and she is a rare runner in a maiden on the flat for Willie Mullins. She can gain compensation here for her luckless effort last time.
4.45 Hamilton: Sam Hawkens
William Haggas can land this contest with Sam Hawkens who produced a career best to win at Newcastle last time out in a fast time.
That was only his fourth run for this yard, and they seem to have found the key to him. Given he has an entry in the Northumberland Plate, it would also seem that he is regarded as a useful stayer in the making.
He travelled powerfully last time before readily seeing off Steel Tiger, who takes him on again, and there's little reason to think that rival can reverse the form.
Sam Hawkens looks the one to be with here in a strong handicap.
6.15 Hamilton: Abduction
Abduction is not the easiest to win with, but he is at the top of his game, and was unlucky not to win at Musselburgh over seven furlongs last time out.
He never had a chance to open up that day and would have won if he had got some running room in the final two furlongs.
He has been dropped a pound for that effort and a mark of 76 underestimates his ability given he has won off a 10lb higher mark in the past.
A stiff six furlongs will be ideal for him and he looks set to take advantage of his rating for the in-form Jim Goldie.
