3.05 Fakenham: Dancing Dame
James Owen does remarkably well with new recruits, and Dancing Dame makes her debut for him here.
The selection shaped with promise in Ireland on her final start for Tim Doyle where she was considerately handled by her amateur rider. Jonathan Burke takes over in the saddle in a weak race now, and Dancing Dame's keen-going nature will be aided by this sharp track.
With James Owen in charge of her career now, we can expect plenty of improvement.
3.50 Listowel: Straight Up
Straight up has been highly tried in three starts since winning his maiden at this track, and this drop in grade can see him return to the winners' enclosure.
He has a top-class pedigree and should be better than he has shown so far, but a combination of being too keen, outclassed, and encountering heavy ground have conspired against him.
Much more seems to be in his favour here, and I can see him making all the running for a return to winning ways.

4.55 Nottingham: Dunkeld Dreamer
Dunkeld Dreamer was heavily supported last time out at Hamilton where he proved no match for the useful Plaid.
In finishing second, he pulled five lengths clear of the third, and gets to race here off the same mark of 79.
He raced close to a strong pace that day, and deserves credit for keeping on as well as he did, which suggested he is ahead of his mark.
He usually races prominently, and Nottingham is a track that suits horses that race prominently. It is not out of the question that he will get his own way in front and, if so, he will be hard to peg back.
6.45 Thirsk: Thaluna
This lightly-raced filly from the William Haggas yard shaped with abundant promise at Newmarket last time out.
She was held up in a strongly-run contest before staying on strongly through the final furlong, despite meeting trouble in running.
She will likely be suited by further than this trip of a mile in time, but the promise of a strongly-run race looks sure to suit.
She takes on her own sex here, which is a hidden drop in grade and, given that she has only been raised a pound for her Newmarket run, she looks to have an excellent chance here.
