Exeter has unfortunately been abandoned today but Racing TV presenter Angus McNae still has two selections at Punchestown. On his hurdling debut and off a six-month absence, this horse ran really well on his hurdling debut to be an excellent second to Envoi Allen.
He then went on to win in good style at Cork where he travelled strongly and quickened up well after the last.
This is a step up in grade to Listed company, but he should be able to make the transition to this level given his smart bumper form and the potential he retains for more improvement over hurdles.

Arthurian Fame caught the eye last time out
This is a particularly strong looking maiden hurdle. Arthurian Fane was rated 99 when last successful on the flat at this track and has surely got more to give in this sphere.
He has run twice over hurdles and his first was his best, but last time out he was hampered in the home straight and was not given a hard time once beaten.
Given how he has kept on and hit the line well on both starts over hurdles, this step up to two-and-a-half miles should suit.
He showed that he had tactical pace on the flat and he could be too speedy for his rivals at this trip.
