Top presenter Angus McNae has selections divided between the meetings at and . Watch how they fare live on Racing TV. 2.00 Naas: Purple Lily
A filly with a future would have been an apt description after she won on her debut last season.
That win came in a maiden at Galway last August where she beat a next-time-out winner and a horse who went on to be second in a Group Three at Longchamp. The time was slick, too.
Understandably, Purple Lily holds some eye-catching entries, three of which are in Group One contests. She can get her season off to a winning start.
2.35 Naas: Knight to King
Knight to King is a well-bred son of Kingman who won on debut at Gowran before finishing fourth in a couple of Group contests.
He was slightly disappointing when last in action, not finding as much as looked likely off the bridle.
However, his potential remains intact. Dermot Weld has his horses in good form and it looks to be a smart decision to drop this horse in grade for his seasonal reappearance.
4.05: Limerick: Lets Go Champ
This is a lightly raced gelding - just six races under Rules - and he is unexposed as a chaser.
He has had only two runs over the larger obstacles and was an excellent second to Embassy Gardens on his latest start. The winner has subsequently finished second in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham.
Lets Go Champ jumped well that day, with the RaceiQ data revealing that he gained 5.5 lengths on the field with his jumping. Given his inexperience augurs well for his future in this discipline. He can win this on his way to better things.
4.40 Limerick: Folly Master
I am not convinced we have seen the best of this horse yet. He has won his past two starts since being stepped up in trip, but there could be plenty more to come.
His latest win at Thurles came on his first start over fences and the winning margin of almost four lengths could have been a lot more.
He hardly came off the bridle in sauntering clear. He can build on that here and land this handicap now that he has found his groove over staying trips.
