Soon raced in third, hampered and dropped to last 10th, rallied and closed on leaders after 4 out, bumped 3 out, outpaced by leading pair after 2 out, stayed on but no further headway run-in

Led, narrowly headed 5th, disputed lead again 7th, lost position 15th, pushed along before 4 out, outpaced after 3 out, landed awkwardly last, weakened run-in

Held up in rear but in touch, pushed along from 17th, outpaced before 4 out, ridden after 3 out, rallied after last, kept on, just failed for fourth towards finish
