Took keen hold, chased leader, chased winner from 5th, pushed along and outpaced when lost 2nd before 3 out, 3rd and beaten when blundered 2 out, lost 3rd near finish

Jumped poorly in rear, went right and unseated rider 3rd

Tended to jump left, led until 5th, dropped to 3rd, weakened quickly 7th, tailed off and pulled up before 3 out
