We hope the second edition of the RaceiQ Cheltenham Festival pack preview pack can add another dimension and act as a valuable tool for all 12 Grade One jumps races.
Last year, we identified the jumping frailties of some of the well fancied runners, such as Tullyhill and El Fabiolo who were betrayed by their jumping at the top level.
In common with the formbook, what the RaceiQ data means is open to some interpretation. We have highlighted details that we see as significant for the most fancied, but you may interpret it differently or find something else yourself.
RaceiQ metrics are built off detailed GPS tracking data that is collected by two trackers on each horse at a rate of 18 data points per second. RaceiQ incorporates full tracking data for races from all tracks in Britain since March 2023, and Ireland since the start of last year.
