A left-handed mostly flat track where you are pretty much always on the turn, hence a strong travelling type, who can plot a path the shortest way around, is well suited. Very often on good ground or firmer, front-running types can steal the race off the front end as it’s hard to peg them back if you’re unable to go the early fractions of the race. A short run to the line off the final bend rarely allows anyone not in a challenging position to get involved.
