Dundalk Racecourse, Results & Racecards

Dundalk Racecourse

The Dundalk polytrack course, which opened in August, 2007, is a left-handed, oval course, about 10 furlongs in extent, with a run-in of about 2½ furlongs. A 5f chute joins the main course on the home bend just over 3½ furlongs from the finish, while the 1m start is in a short chute at the start of the back straight.
Located to the north of Dundalk in County Louth, Dundalk Stadium is a venue hosting both horse and greyhound races. Prior to its current incarnation as a €24 million Polytrack course, the location was home to a turf track that was primarily used for National Hunt races until 2001.
This all-weather track has a sterling reputation and is considered as one of the finest of its kind in Europe. While the track has a fantastic atmosphere any time of the year, the magic really starts to happen during the winter months when staging Flat racing on at least one occasion each week from late October to mid-March.
Access to this exciting racecourse couldn’t be easier with being only minutes from the M1, the main Dublin/Belfast road.
