Located in Port Elizabeth, the racecourse includes both a turf track and polytrack and hosts races every week with no entry fee. Featured races include the Jockey Club Stakes, Founders Trophy and the Algoa Cup.

Once situated at the site of a popular shopping centre today, the current course resides in Greenacres. The racecourse is a comparatively young addition to Port Elizabeth horseracing scene, having only celebrated its 40th anniversary on 18th June 2017.
