William Hill going five places here in a ten-runner Champion Hurdle is surely one of the offers of the week. Abacadabras has been trimmed in recent days but I still feel he will run a blinder.
More than anything, we’re getting 4/1 for form - in the exact circumstances required - that is at least as good as anything else in the field (taking into account the mares' 7lb allowance)
I expect her to be ridden handy and make this a real test, just like she did in the Irish Champion Hurdle, which will bring her stamina into play. She will also receive a 7lb mares’ allowance, which is another plus.
It is hard to get away from Henry De Bromhead’s unbeaten mare, who looked better than ever when trouncing Abacadabras and Sharjah in the Irish Champion Hurdle last time.
