Limato will head to either Ascot or ParisLongchamp in search of a hat-trick of successes at the weekend.
The John Guest Racing Bengough Stakes at the Berkshire track on Saturday and the Qatar Prix de la Foret in France on Sunday are the two races connections are considering for the six-year-old.
Limato is on a roll after bouncing back to form with victories in Listed races at Newmarket and York, following a disappointing start to the season.
As ever, the weather will have a major bearing on where the Henry Candy-trained gelding goes, as he needs fast ground to be at his best.
“Those decisions are always last-minute with him depending on the weather,” said Candy.
“It will be up to Mr (Paul) Jacobs (owner) to decide between the Bengough on the Saturday and the Foret on Sunday.”
Should Limato go to France, he would be seeking a repeat win in the Foret, having won under Harry Bentley in 2016. He was also a fast-finishing second in the 2015 renewal.
