Johnny Ward's Ballinrobe tips: "A strong each-way bet"

Irish racing expert Johnny Ward has a couple of fancies for the action at Ballinrobe on Tuesday evening, live on Racing TV.

Ballinrobe will be buzzing with just five days to go until Mayo take on Kerry in the All-Ireland football final.

The two contenders below, who are running in either division of the staying handicap hurdle on Tuesday, make great appeal, and perhaps punters can do an each-way double to put themselves in even better form!

I'm a shade worried as to why this six-year-old has not run since winning here in May 2025 (he was set to run at Kilbeggan earlier this month but was declared a non-runner due to unsuitable ground).

However, he's very hard to oppose in a weak race, given how he handled this venue last time out, and the way he finished that contest.
