Our website tipster has three selections for you to consider on Tuesday, including one chalked up at 14-1.
Won off a rating of 122 two seasons ago but then went on a pretty steep decline, losing his jumping confidence and not finishing his races under inexperienced claimers.
However, the signs have been very good this season and it looks as though he is over what ailed him.
Headgear has been experimented with and it certainly looked as though the combination of a visor and tongue strap worked the oracle last time out when he won at Southwell.
Previous to that he had announced his return to form with a good effort here at Fontwell and given that he is still very well treated on old form, he is worth siding with to follow up.
This selection is having a trip around the northern sprint stables and none have, as yet, managed to get a win into him.
However, he has been runner-up twice from three starts since joining Julie Camacho recently, including once at this track.
He is one of the outsiders of the field and even though some rivals have been in winning form, I don’t think he is that far behind them.
He has a pretty good draw in stall four and with cheekpieces being applied for the first time to liven him up, he should avoid kickback and has every chance of running a good race, now he is familiar with the surface. He is also 9lb lower than when he last ran in a handicap.
Spring Romance is on a roll for Mick Appleby and should probably have done better than when beaten at odds-on last time out, and can make amends running under a penalty again here.
He won off a rating of 72 for his former yard, so if he is returning to form, he is still comfortably in off 64 here, especially as he is running in 0-60 grade.
With the form of his trainer at this track and his jockey in this type of race, it is unlikely he will be left alone in the market, but it is difficult to find a rival with as much in his favour.
The super-experienced Serena Brotherton will hopefully not get into a battle for the lead with George Thomas, and Spring Romance should have enough class to be able to repel late challengers.
