Dave Nevison's Tuesday tips: Three for the shortlist at Taunton and Wolverhampton

Robbie Llewellyn’s yard had been going through a bit of a quiet spell, but enjoyed a welcome winner last Thursday and this mare certainly showed she had not gone backwards since last season with a very promising return last time out. Ask Me Another improved after a couple of quiet runs last season - her first notable effort coming when third at this track - and won at Hereford on her final start. She will stay long distances in time but can definitely win a handicap over this trip and all her form has been shown on soft going so conditions won't be an issue.

Safe Destination has been very well placed to win three of his last four runs, all handicaps and all by fairly narrow margins - therefore impacting his handicap mark much less than may well have been the case. He arrives at this race off a mark of just 106 having started his winning run down at 89 but certainly looked last time as though he still had more in him. He is only 4lb worse off with bottom weight Robinsville for beating him five lengths last time so the handicapper has not been harsh. He has won his last two races under the same useful 7lb-claiming conditional and another win looks a distinct possibility. 

This filly showed improved form when running in her first handicap over this course and distance in January. Sarafina Mshairi finished third beaten less than a length and is probably lucky not to have been raised by a pound or two for that effort but runs again off 58 this afternoon. Warren Fentiman looks very much an apprentice to watch very closely this season and Edward Smyth-Osborne is another trainer looking to make the most of his 7lb claim for the first time here. She was drawn in one last time - her wider draw is not as good but far from an insurmountable issue.
