Tipstar 2026: this year's final will be LIVE from Cheltenham on Friday, December 11!
Racing's favourite competition is back!
Could you be our next horse racing expert? The Racing TV Tipstar competition returns this month, and £1,000 plus a live shift on Racing TV is up for grabs again, along with a whole host of other brilliant prizes.
The competition is open to everyone aged 18 or over, and a number of familiar names who have contested previous finals have gone on to secure a career in the racing media.
This year, there are two rounds to enter before six finalists are chosen by our judges.
A preview video is required for any race on Racing TV on Saturday, October 24, and the same for Saturday, October 31. We must also stress that this is not a tipping competition, but a competition to test your broadcasting and punditry skills.
The finalsits will each preview and review a race with a Racing TV presenter and pundit at Cheltenham on Friday, December 11, live on Racing TV!
Each video you send in must be no longer than 60 seconds, and they will ideally be recorded landscape style, not portrait.
We will aim to show some of the entries on the channel, so the earlier you send in your videos, the more likely they are to be shown during one of our shows, and on Racing TV's website plus social media pages.
We wish everyone the very best of luck, and for more details, please visit racingtv.com/tipstar2026
