Swiss Money was quite useful on the Flat in France and makes his hurdling debut here. He was last seen winning a claimer at Longchamp and was claimed by current connections out of that race for €35,000. He stays at least 10 furlongs on the Flat and this sharp two miles over hurdles should be no problem. This gelding won his only two starts in Bumpers and made a promising start to his hurdling career at Southwell. In that race, he finished second to a useful Flat recruit in Young Merlin. He jumped and travelled well and led turning for home, but was run down going to the last. He was not given a hard time once beaten and should come on for the run given that it was his first start for ten months. He has been found a decent opportunity here.

This horse can be excused his poor effort last time out at Cartmel. A bad mistake early on put him on the back foot and he was then quite badly hampered three out. Before that run he had been in good form, finishing a narrowly beaten third at Warwick and then a decent second at Aintree behind an improving handicapper. If he can bring that level of form to this contest, then he should go close. Brian Hughes takes over in the saddle and he has won on him twice in the past. The combination looks sure to go well.

This mare has won her past three starts, two over hurdles and one over fences. She returns to chasing here and can win again. She is unbeaten in three starts for this yard, improving a good deal since leaving Ireland. Two of her last three wins have come here at Perth and despite rising 12lb in the weights she can win again. She travelled strongly and jumped efficiently when winning over fences here and faces just four opponents here, none of whom are in the sort of form that she is in.
