Three Newmarket racegoers to win holidays to Dubai on Friday

A trip to Newmarket could result in further travels this weekend with racegoers heading to Headquarters on Friday for a card featuring three Group races having the opportunity to try and win three five-day holidays to Dubai.

The competition, organised by race sponsors Al Basti Equiworld Dubai, will be restricted only to those on course at Newmarket and requires registration on the day. Draws will take place during the afternoon in the parade ring and the winners will have up to 30 minutes to claim their prize.

The weeks ahead represent a fascinating period in British Flat racing, with six days of wonderful racing at Newmarket between now and October 8, not to mention the Book One Yearling Sale at nearby Tattersalls when some of the best-bred youngsters in the world will be up for auction.

The John Gosden-trained Commissioned, a daughter of Kingman who made such an impressive start to her racing career when making a sparkling debut on the July course 55 days ago, looks likely to go off favourite for the Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Rockfel Stakes.

Racingtv.com's Andy Stephens has selected five horses to follow at the meeting including the unbeaten filly Rage of Bamby, a leading player in the same race.
