The Lost Sock ran a race full of promise on debut, finishing third in the PricedUp EBF Maiden Stakes over 6f at
Nottingham.
Sent off at 6-1, the son of Cotai Glory pulled hard and was keen in the early stages, but soon settled better to sit on the heels of the leader and odds-on favourite
Maximum Scepticism.

He lost second inside the final furlong, where he began to tire, but held on to finish third. It was a promising debut effort from the Roger Varian-trained colt, who was the only debutant in the seven-strong field.
Joseph O'Brien's Maximum Scepticism, who had ran with credit in two runs behind some smart Ballydoyle juveniles, ran out a comfortable winner, ahead of the Hugo Palmer-trained
Phantom Watch.
Roger Varian's Assistant Oliver Rix spoke to Racing TV.
