Dan Skelton gives top hurdler Kabral Du Mathan his chasing debut in the 1.55 at Perth on Thursday and the trainer can also strike on the card with Major Fortune.
He won tidily at Haydock on his final start last term and can pick up from where he left off. The eight-year-old has gained the most lengths with his jumping in six of his past eight starts and Harry Skelton has already chalked up seven wins on him.
✅ 3.40 PERTH: MAGNOLIA
Jump Index: 7.8
Lengths Gained Jumping latest: 3.34 (best)

Magnolia is 2lb lower than when winning at Kelso at the end of last year and the seven-year-old mare indicated she would soon be taking advantage when a close third over course and distance last month on what was her first outing for 123 days.
She is entitled to be sharper and is most efficient at getting from A to B, with RaceiQ’s Jump Index score for her being 7.8 out of 10.
✅ 4.15 PERTH: KADO SACREE
Jump Index: 7.0 (hurdles)
Highest Speed: 35.05mph
Trainer Actuak v Expected Perth: 1.49
The RaceiQ data tells us Olly Murphy has struck with 17 of his 49 runners at Perth in the past year and that his horses have exceeded market expectations by 45 per cent.
That augurs well for Kado Sacree, a point-to-point winner who makes his chasing bow with Sean Bowen in the saddle.
Kado Sacree has been marking time over hurdles although he won handicaps in that sphere at Carlisle and Perth in the spring, gaining eight lengths with his jumping in the latter.
