Racing TV ambassador Aidan Coleman gives us the inside track on his rides at Sandown on Saturday and reflects on Paisley Park's Cleeve Hurdle success at Cheltenham.
I am hoping Sandown defies the cold snap on Saturday as it is a very valuable card and I have got some good chances.
My best ride of the weekend is
Johnbb who I ride in the Take “Em On With 888Sport Novices” Handicap Hurdle.
He has shown a lot of promise on his three starts this season and I remember highlighting him as one for the notebook prior to his success at Ayr last time out.

12:50 Warwick - Thursday December 13
Johnbb finished third behind two useful rivals at Warwick in December
His run before – when he finished third at Warwick - was one that really stood out as the first two have won again since and his handicap rating of 126 looks fair.
It is been a long time since I rode
Flemcara but he is a horse with ability.
The 888Sport Heroes Handicap Hurdle is a competitive race, as you would expect for a £100,000 race, but I think he has got a great each-way chance and Emma Lavelle's horses are running well.
There is a good pot for the 888Sport Masters Handicap Chase too with £50,000 on offer.
Le Reve has been around for a while, but he looks to have an each-way chance too.
I rode
Beaufort West at Chepstow in October and he was expected to run a lot better than he did, but was ultimately disappointing. He has run much better on his two outings since and looks to be improving with every run. He has a chance in the 888Sport Novices' Hurdle.
I have only had a handful of rides for Gary Moore so I am pleased to get the call up for
Not Another Muddle in the 888Sport Bet £10 Get £30 Handicap.
He is two from two over fences and looks progressive. Gary does well at Sandown and hopefully he can take advantage of his low weight.
I was delighted with Paisley Park’s win in the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham last week. He has answered every question asked of him this season and has not stopped improving.
What is really exciting is that we still might not have got to the bottom of him yet.
He has proved himself the leading staying hurdler in Britain and now heads the market for the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham which is very much justified.
I have been waiting a while for a proper Festival championship horse and he certainly fits that bill.
Whatever happens though, he has proved himself this season. He is lightly raced with only nine runs under his belt and, given he is only seven, he will hopefully be around for many years to come.
