Sunday tips: Dave Nevison shares his three best bets

The Irish meetings take centre stage on Sunday and there is a considerable gulf in quality, but hopefully these three below will run good races in races that may slip under the radar. 

Sean Bowen might well have won on this horse four starts ago at Huntingdon as he was closing nicely only to be unseated at the third last. 

That was the only time the excellent Bowen has ridden Jackpot Cash and he has got chance to ride him off a 2lb lower mark here. 

It is interesting that James Owen has decided to drop the six-year-old down in trip and with Bowen back on board he is worth another chance. 

Freddie Keighley is about the best value 7lb claimer riding and it is worth looking at all his rides while he still has that generous allowance. 

Redbridge Rambler needs to jump better than he has done on recent starts, but he is dropping down to the same mark he last won a chase off on this occasion. 

He is also dropping back into a 0-100 handicap chase having been in 0-120, and I am hoping that the easier grade and the relatively easy fences at Catterick may suit him better. 

Camarrate won two hurdle races last year, but it has been a mixed bag since both on the Flat and over hurdles. 

However, he ran a good race in a much higher-grade handicap hurdle last time out and I am hopeful he can build on that here. 

The form of that race is working out quite well and the form looks strong, so Donald McCain’s five-year-old gelding will only have to reproduce that effort to go close in this. Camarrate stays this trip well and the ground is perfect for him.
