Inside Angle: Martin Dixon has three bets for Saturday

Robert Walford has sent out three winners from just seven runners since racing resumed after Christmas, so stable form is a big positive and I think a modest mark of 98 potentially grossly underestimates St Lukes Chelsea. He's a progressive juvenile and would have won easily at Fontwell last time but for a serious blunder at the second last when looking to have the race sewn up. This shorter trip and sharper track should see him in an even better light, and it'll be disappointing if he doesn't at least go very close to making a winning handicap debut. 

Eldorado Allen is in his first season competing in the Veteran races and although he's run with credit on both outings this term, I suspect there's been one eye all along on this valuable series final. He possibly needed the run at Warwick in November and was then unsuited by dropping in trip last time. His mark has edged down a little more and back over three miles, and refitted with cheekpieces, I'm hoping he'll be primed to take the slight step forward that's required to return to winning ways. 

There are some progressive handicappers in this field, but I anticipate there's still plenty more to come from Authentic Legacy, especially now he steps up in distance (he's from the family of three-time Gold Cup winner Best Mate). He was heavily backed ahead of his handicap debut last time, but a slowly run race didn't get to the bottom of him at all, and I'd expect a more truly run affair over this longer trip to see him to much better effect.
