3.40 Ascot: Earth Shot
Legacy Link ran well to be second in the Oaks but a thirteen day turnaround is a tough ask, I'm also not keen to side with soft ground Epsom form.
Earth Shot has been steadily progressive and perhaps got mugged at Goodwood last time by a filly who has since placed in group one company. This step up in trip can bring out more improvement.
4.15 Ascot: Caballo De Mar
There are plenty of young stayers lining up here but the 2m4f trip will take many in to unknown territory.
That is not true for Caballo De Mar, he has seemingly bottomless stamina and his close second to Sweet William over an inadequate two miles showed that he can handle both this track and faster ground. He'll prove tough to pass.

5.35 Ascot: Italy
I took the view that he shaped like the most talented horse in the race in the Vincent O'Brien National Stakes last season where he finished third despite pulling far too hard in the early stages.
That inefficient style had been prevalent in all his races last season but he looked more compliant on his return in the Ballysax Stakes in April settling well staying on well in a race that contained the Derby 1-2.
This faster ground can see him reverse form with stable mate Endorsement.
6.20 Leopardstown: Glitter And Glory
Shaped promisingly on her first couple of starts last year, before temporarily losing her way.
She's slowly worked back to form and her penultimate start saw her win comfortably at Dundalk - the runner-up has won since and is now rated 85.
Her latest effort back on the turf at the Curragh was another good effort with her strong late work suggesting the return to a mile will see her to better effect.
