Prize money boost for York as Paddy Power sponsor Dante Festival

York Racecourse is delighted to announce that Paddy Power, part of Flutter Entertainment, has become the Official Betting Partner to the Dante Festival.

Not only that, but Paddy Power will also sponsor and boost prize funds of six races across the three days, including the provision of a record pot of £175,000 for the Group Two feature of the final afternoon, the Paddy Power Yorkshire Cup – a top quality staying contest which counts Stradivarius and Spanish Mission amongst its winners.

Their sponsorship of a further five handicaps, covering distances between five and twelve furlongs, provides the Irish betting firm with a presence across each day of the Dante Festival when it opens the season on Wednesday 11 May on the Knavesmire.
