Philip Kirby eyeing Haydock final date for Doncaster winner Lady Buttons

Lady Buttons is to be aimed at the final of the Challenger Mares' Handicap Hurdle Series at Haydock next month following her victory in a qualifier at Doncaster.Philip Kirby's seven-year-old disposed of three rivals quite comfortably in the hands of Adam Nicol to complete a hat-trick after earlier wins at Newcastle and Southwell."She'll probably go to the final next. We'll give her a little break," Kirby told At The Races."The handicapper put her up 19lb for her last two wins. She doesn't want murdering. We've taken our time with her and hopefully we can keep going forwards."She's only beaten three horses. One hadn't run for nearly 300 days and another one was out of form, so the handicapper needn't be hard on her."
