Last year's 2000 Guineas runner-up had been out of luck following his effort on the Rowley Mile and was injured when running in the Derby.
He returned in August last year but was then sidelined again before defying a 373-day absence when winning the Hungerford Stakes.
Burrows has the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at
Ascot on Champions Day in his sights and said: "He's well and has come out of Newbury fine.
"He's in the Moulin. That's on September 10. We'll see. He's in the Foret three weeks later and it's the QEII three weeks after that.
"It will be one of the French races he'll go for, then the QEII."
