Tipstar champion Katie Midwinter has five selections across three fixtures on Saturday afternoon, including a promising youngster in the 4.50pm at Naas, live on Racing TV.
2.05 Ascot: Bellarchi
This Mehmas filly is in a rich vein of form and can continue her good run for trainer Grant Tuer. Now on a career high mark of 87, she steps up to a mile for the first time having finished strongly over 7½f in soft conditions at Beverley when last seen. She has 5lb claimer Sean Bowen in the saddle, giving her a feather weight to carry, and she holds strong each-way claims for an in-form yard.
2.25 Lingfield: Treasure
The Mastercraftsman filly won her maiden in good style at Nottingham last season, doing all of her best work in the closing stages over the extended mile and shaping as though a step up in trip will suit. She's entitled to progress from her debut outing on a sounder surface and the improvement in yard form is an obvious positive.

2.40 Ascot: Carrytheone
An overpriced contender in this tricky handicap is former Johnny Murtagh-trained Carrytheone. On a workable mark of 101, making his second appearance for Michael Bell, the gelding placed in Listed company last term and was also competitive in the Group Three Ballycorus Stakes at Leopardstown. He can strip fitter for his first outing of the season and could outrun his odds under Kevin Stott.
3.00 Lingfield: At Vimeiro
By Sea The Stars out of 1m4f Group Two winning daughter of Nathaniel, Amorella, this 650,000gns purchase was always likely to be seen to best effect over further and a step up in trip could allow him to return to some form. Whilst he is yet to justify his hefty price tag, he showed promise when featuring in the Royal Lodge Stakes, finishing four-and-a-quarter-lengths behind the winner, subsequent QIPCO 2000 Guineas fourth Ghostwriter. There were a number of promising colts ahead of him that day including recent Dee Stakes winner Capulet, and Group Three winner Aablan finished in behind. Overpriced at 100-1, he isn’t one to give up on just yet.
4.50 Naas: Naturally Nimble
The Joseph O'Brien-trained gelding shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Galway, chasing home subsequent Group Three winner Grosvenor Square, whilst giving his rival 5lbs. He stayed on strongly over the mile-and-a-half trip, suggesting the step up in trip will suit perfectly. Making only his third start, he is less exposed than a couple of his rivals and this looks a feasible opportunity for him to break his maiden.
