Gordon expects to be out of action for around two weeks after injuring her hand at Ayr on Saturday.
The rider banged her left hand as Gnaad jumped out of the stalls and an X-ray revealed a fracture.
She told Unibet: “I’ve got some bad news to report; it looks like I am in for a couple of easy weeks on the sidelines.
“I jumped awkwardly coming out of the stalls on Gnaad at Ayr on Saturday, and banged my left hand quite badly.
“I knew it wasn’t great at the time, but I flew home and went for an X–ray at Bury St Edmunds (on Sunday), which confirmed there was a fracture.
“Hopefully, I will be back sooner rather than later, and I am going to stick around for the next couple of weeks, staying active and keeping fit, and focus my sights on being A-1 for Goodwood.
“I hope to be back riding before then, but I will obviously let the injury and the doctors dictate my comeback.
“It’s very annoying, but these things happen.”
