Johnny Ward has posted over £80 in profit with his website tips since May 2018 and our Irish racing expert has two fancies for all the action from Downpatrick and Gowran. Enjoy every momeht live on Racing TV.

It is interesting to note that Mick Winters has just one horse in Downpatrick on Sunday - Maria Francesca.

I make it approximately a 850km-round trip from Winters' Kanturk base and the trainer has won with his last two horses, though his revelation after Pythion won at Listowel that he walked across the river Feale to get to the track means travel is no issue to the great man.

It'll be pretty quick at both Downpatrick and Gowran. Here are my two selections.

2.50 Downpatrick: That's Lifebuoy

John Ryan has had a fine campaign. I rarely back his horses as I find them unpredictable, but That's Lifebuoy has been anything but that this season. I feel she will be better at this intermediate trip, as she travels really well without quite getting home over three miles or so.

3.00 Gowran: Sindhia

This filly seems reliant on the quick ground that she will get here, so you can forget about her previous visits to Gowran. Everything is in place for her here. She's well-drawn and she can outstay Acquiescent - who edged her out on the all-weather in October - off what looks a favourable mark.
