Our Irish racing expert reveals his best bets for the racing action at the Curragh and Limerick on Sunday. Both meetings will be shown live on Racing TV.
No doubt about the main talking point on Sunday: Colin Keane riding for Aidan O'Brien.
Even less doubt that the great man would prefer to be asked about that than some other items that cropped up over the past week in a seriously frustrating spell for the yard.
I have three selections the Curragh and Limerick on Sunday - watch both meetings live on Racing TV.
John McConnell's horses are in terrific form and there's a strong chance this colt by Hot Streak will be underestimated, having started off at Bellewstown – like a certain Pretty Gorgeous – and won at Down Royal.
The favourite disappointed at Down Royal, but A Case Of You seems to have loads of ability this horse - he also had to overcome a high draw - and the way he travels suggests not only that this trip will be fine, but that this class will be too.
Sonnyboylisten is very close to being the best horse sired by Power, but this is a big challenge for him, taking on Fiscal Rules, Up Helly Aa and Order Of Australia.
I love how the selection goes about his business and I can see him going off favourite here. He finds loads for pressure, and it's likely Padraig Beggy will ride accordingly.
High-class handicap chases are not good punting opportunities in my view, but this might be different in that few of them have anything even remotely obvious to spare from the handicapper, with one glaring exception: Walk Away.
He ticks every box, bar experience, and one is gambling on Henry de Bromhead's ability to have him jump well enough. That's one of the safer gambles one can have. We've teamed up with the National Hunt experts at Timeform to bring you a FREE copy of their latest book - 50 Jumps Horses to Follow throughout the 2020/21 season.
