I hope you enjoyed the tipping this week, with a couple of nice-priced winners . . . and I'm afraid plenty of nice-priced losers!
Patrick Mullins' achievement in winning a third Galway Hurdle as an amateur in four years was pretty incredible. He is a terrific ambassador for the sport.
Here are a couple of fascinating runners in the handicaps on Sunday.
This is quite an open race and this one is interesting at a price, for all that she will, like nearly everything, need to avoid ill-luck in running.
She was notably well-backed at Ballinrobe when essentially gobbled up coming out of the stalls and all told her run was laudable. She kept on nicely. It's likely any rain will help.
There are a few things to note about this one's Irish debut at Navan: he broke very well, looked to be in no way suited by a stiff ten furlongs and had to overcome the poor strike-rate of additions to this stable.
All told it was a lovely run and expect him to be ridden much more forward over seven furlongs here under his crack apprentice. He scrapes into a 0-75, having been rated 89 not so long ago for Richard Fahey.
