Tom Stanley catches up with three of the trainers who have leading chances on 2026 Qatar Racing British Champions Day - what do they make of the chances of Ombudsman, Almaqam and Bay City Roller?
Ombudsman leads the charge for Gosden in the Champion Stakes as he bids to reverse last year's runner-up finish behind French raider Calandagan, a race in which the Ed Walker-trained Almaqam was third 12 months ago.
This year, all three will need to master the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe runner-up Bay City Roller who will bid to land his second Group One of the season for trainer George Scott.
Watch the video above to find out the latest on all three contenders, as well as updates on other leading lights from the three stables on what promises to be a fitting finale to the Flat season.
