Injured Noble Endeavor scratched from Grand National by Gordon Elliott

Gordon Elliott has ruled Noble Endeavor out of the Randox Health Grand National at Aintree.

The nine-year-old has not run since finishing sixth to Our Duke in the Irish National last spring.

He was bring prepared with Aintree in mind this season and was around the 33-1 mark for the Liverpool showpiece but he was scratched from the field on Monday.

Elliott said: "He's picked up a minor injury and is behind schedule."

Noble Endeavor's owner Chris Jones still has a live Aintree player on his hands in Mala Beach, while Elliott can also choose from the likes of Ucello Conti, Cause Of Causes and Tiger Roll.
