Dave Nevison has recorded a level stakes profit of £18.85 to a £1 stake over the past fortnight in addition to plenty of seconds - including agonising runner-up Caius Chorister on Saturday! Our resident website tipster shares three tips here for Catterick on Tuesday, live on Racing TV.
This mare looks interesting here having showed signs of coming back to form when fourth at Southwell last time.
The key form line looks like the course-and-distance event back in July when she beat Mutanaaseq in receipt of 5lb, and she will be getting 13lb now off Ruth Carr’s top-weight. Liberty Breeze is only 1lb higher currently then her subsequent narrow second and she is reunited with Mark Winn here, the rider she seems to get on very well with and one who still claims an extremely valuable 3lb.
If running to her best, Liberty Breeze could definitely win this.
This seven-year-old hasn’t won since the spring of last season but he’s certainly due a win and, when it comes, it is likely it will be here at Catterick where he goes so well.
Langholm has been placed here on his last three starts and went down by a short head over this trip three starts ago. That effort last month came off this mark of 59 and he now runs off that same mark, which might be what he needs to get his head in front.
Langholm has only one way of going, but he doesn’t look to have a challenge for the lead here so he has plenty in his favour.
I am late to the party with Jojo Rabbit but, having backed him each way to five places last time, I could hardly believe my eyes as I watched the race at Beverley unfold.
Every path through seemed to be blocked even though he travelled supremely well and Jojo Rabbit went past the post hardly having had a race. I am of a forgiving nature and believe this five-year-old to be in very good form at present. From a rating 17lb below his last winning mark, he has been given every chance by the handicapper.
I am hoping that Jojo Rabbit is ridden really positively here to avoid traffic and that can show them all a clean pair of heels.
