Horse racing tips for Saturday: Katie Midwinter's bets

The unbeaten Harry Angel filly recorded three victories during her juvenile campaign, including when beating now 97-rated and Group Three-placed Witness Stand in a Nursery Handicap at Newmarket. She has proven form over the trip in testing conditions and should prove better than her current mark of 82.

Third in the race last year when rated 2lb higher, History Of Fashion holds strong each-way claims once again with 5lb claimer Richard Condon aboard for Pat Fahy. The gelding has been running well in competitive handicaps this term, including when fifth in the Irish Grand National when last seen, and is certain to stay the marathon trip.

The exciting son of Justify enjoyed a faultless debut season, recording three wins that included the Group One Dewhurst Stakes. He has the potential to become the latest superstar from the Ballydoyle ranks and, although he faces his toughest assignment yet, he is the class of the field and should prove exceptionally tough to beat.

The well-handicapped nine-year-old has dropped to a mark of 129 and has capable 5lb claimer Freddie Gordon in the saddle, further increasing his chances at the weights. Equipped with a first-time tongue tie, he steps back up in trip, which should suit as he’s done all of his best work late on in recent runs. 

Unable to make an impression in the Coral Trophy at Kempton in February when given too much to do from the rear, he stayed on well and should fare better in this company.
